Years ago, a customer asked if we could make a boudin pizza. At the time, we weren't equipped for it and honestly didn't know much about making pizza.
But we tried anyway.
That experiment eventually became a small line of pizzas at The Boudin Company. The more we learned, the more we realized pizza gave us a chance to do something completely different.
So we created Nerd Pizza.
We didn't want another pizza company built around the same pepperoni, sausage, and standard toppings everyone already knows. We wanted a place where we could experiment, create our own flavors, grind our own meats, make our own sausage, develop our own sauces, make our own dough, and put things on pizza that people might never expect.
Brisket. Boudin. Crawfish. Gumbo. Barbecue. Palak paneer.
And we're nowhere near finished.
Why call it Nerd Pizza?
Simple. I'm a nerd.
I love figuring out how things work, improving them, and building something better. That same thinking goes into our food, our recipes, our kitchen, and even the way you order.
That's why we call it: Deliciously Engineered.
We believe in using great ingredients, making what we can ourselves, keeping our prices fair, and taking care of the people who support us.
